Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NIKA ("NIKA", "the service", "we", "us", or "our"), a career relationship management application operated by Askar Azimbai, available at usenika.com.

By creating an account or using NIKA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What NIKA is

NIKA is a tool that helps students and early-career professionals track job applications, manage professional contacts, sync career-related emails and calendar events, and receive AI-generated coaching and suggestions. NIKA is currently provided as an early-stage product and is offered free of charge.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use NIKA. By using the service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
  • If you connect a Gmail, Google Calendar, or Outlook account, you confirm you are authorised to grant NIKA access to that account.
  • Notify us at info@usenika.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use NIKA for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Store data about other people in violation of their privacy rights or applicable law
  • Reverse-engineer or copy the service for competing purposes

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Your content and data

  • You retain ownership of the data and content you put into NIKA.
  • You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely to operate the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you store, including information about third parties (such as your contacts).

6. Connected accounts

When you connect an email or calendar account, NIKA accesses only the data needed to provide its features, as described in the Privacy Policy. We never send emails on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time from your Profile, which revokes our access.

7. AI-generated content

NIKA includes AI features (such as the AI Coach, summaries, and draft messages). AI-generated content may contain errors and should not be treated as professional, legal, financial, or immigration advice. Any visa or immigration information shown in the app is general guidance only — always confirm details with official sources (such as gov.uk) and qualified advisors. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on or acting on it.

8. Availability and changes

NIKA is an evolving product. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may also modify or discontinue the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

9. Disclaimers

NIKA is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, be error-free, or that classification of emails and applications will always be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, opportunities, or profits, arising from your use of NIKA. Because NIKA is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us (which, for a free service, is zero).

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using NIKA and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. On termination, we will delete your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use of NIKA after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
